Maintenance Worker II
The Town of Exmore is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Worker II. Applicant must have, as a minimum, Graduation from high school or GED, valid VA driver’s license or be able to obtain one in 60 days or less, and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with air brakes endorsement is required. The applicant must be ready, willing and able to take on and perform strenuous physical labor in all functions of the Department of Public Works, including, but not limited to water and wastewater systems, refuse collection, leaf and limb removal, drainage, maintenance of grounds and town owned buildings, parks, and properties. Benefits for full-time employees include health care with dental coverage, VRS retirement, short term and long-term disability, life insurance, twelve paid holidays, two personal days, and paid leave. Completed applications must be received by our office before 4:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 to be considered. Salary to be determined by qualifications and certifications.
